Daya Bay at the University of Wisconsin

The Daya Bay reactor antineutrino experiment is designed to make a high-precision measurement of the last unknown neutrino mixing angle theta13 with a sensitivity of sin^22theta13 < 0.01 at 90% CL. Daya Bay is located at the Daya Bay-Ling Ao nuclear power plant in Soithern China, about 55 km from Hong Kong. The experiment is scheduled to start taking data in 2009.

We currently have research opportunities for undergraduates and summer students.
